OUT OF SEASON RENTALS

We welcome individuals, families and groups to the Episcopal Cottage in the off season. The Cottage provides a home like and economical location for families, friends and organizations to gather in the off season within the beautiful grounds of the Chautauqua Institution. Not only is the Cottage a short walk from the lake and Bestor plaza, but it is also close to many local attractions such as The National Comedy Center , the Lucy Desi Museum as well as local vineyards, fine dining and outside recreational activities.

The Cottage, which will accommodate eighteen guests, offers ten bedrooms, four full baths, three half baths, a warming/serving kitchen, a large living room and two porches, one open and one enclosed. All rooms are comfortably furnished and air-conditioned, first and second floor rooms have heat available . Most recently, the Cottage has been the location for family reunions, wedding parties , social and church groups. The cottage is closed and unavailable from mid-October to mid-April . Please contact via email for exact dates of closure . The cottage is not handicap accessible and small children must be supervised at all times due to the age of the cottage . No pets are allowed in the building .

If you wish to rent the cottage for a daytime function ( not overnight) Please email the cottage concerning your proposed event .

Minimum cleaning fee for overnight rentals is $150, charge can vary depending on size of group and bedrooms rented .

Off-Season Rental Charges:

$25 Per Room Per Person Per Night
$150 minimum cottage cleaning fee, May increase based on occupancy
$150 Security Deposit (Refundable if not needed)
50% Deposit at the time of reservation
Balance due on arrival

Functions

The Episcopal Cottage is available for private functions outside the Season at Chautauqua during the Fall and Spring. Kindly email Sue Chichester to discuss an event or to ask a questions. Function Costs:

$100 per Function Day for the Facility
$50 Cleaning Fee
$100 Security Deposit (Refundable if not needed)
50% Deposit at the time of reservation
